Product Description
Concentric Bass Wiring Harness for Jazz & PJ Bass Guitars, inspired by Leo Fender’s original 1960-1962 Concentric (Stacked) Controls of Vol/Tone (top/bottom) for each pickup.
Concentric controls for bass give you a wide range of tone options. Being able to contour the volume and tone of each pickup individually, offers an opportunity to sculpt your own tone to your discretion. Giving you the ability to really dial in the bass tone needed for the track or for defining your own sound.
These concentric controls are a drop in replacement for G&L SB-2 Bass Guitars. Or any other similar 2 knob configuration for Jazz or PJ Bass. If you require a new pickguard, then contact us about a prewired pickguard with our Concentric Controls.
Although initially designed in 1960, this is our modern take on a classic yet undervalued wiring controls from the 1962 Jazz Bass. Using Alpha concentric pots, orange tone drops, a switch craft jack & Teflon insulated wire. All wired and soldered by hand in Tennessee, USA by bass players that understand the quest for tone.
A Tone Merchants pre-wired Concentric Bass Wiring Harness will add tonal dynamics that your current controls cannot offer.
We sent our Concentric Jazz Bass Control Plate to Andy Irvine from Andy’s World of Bass to try out. Check out his demo and review.
