Need a luthier or guitar tech to put together your Guitar Kit Set?
I understand that wanting to put together your own guitar kit set, and wanting a guitar that you selected the components for are two very different things. Some of us just want to have a far better value for money strat through a kit set, compared to what you can get from a shop for a similar total cost. Lets be honest, anything you buy from a shop in this range, will still need a good set up. So I have put together a list of New Zealand & Australian luthiers & guitar techs that I have worked with, and am confident can put together a fantastic kit set guitar for you.
Below is the Stratocaster Kit I put together last year using the very same components. I work with one of the luthiers in my list above & we put together a fantastic Strat that one of my customers loves! So keep your eye out, as every now and then I get one of these put together for the shop.
Important Notes:
We are unable to pre-drill the mounting holes into the back of the neck for you. This is because we cannot guarantee that the holes we drill will be a 100% match with those on your guitar body. It is recommend that if you are not familiar with replacement neck installation that you contact a qualified luthier or repair shop.
All guitar necks may require a final level, crown, and polish and may need to be fine-tuned to your instrument and playing preferences. Your new neck should be carefully inspected prior to installation and/or modification as necks cannot be returned once altered. Due to the organic nature of wood, each neck is considered unique and may have minor variations in grain or finish from those pictured. Neck heels are made to Fender® USA dimensions and tolerance.
Tone Merchants necks are not “official licensed necks” by Fender®. Tone Merchants has no affiliation with Fender®, in fact we’re not even mates on Facebook.
