Telecaster Blender Mod

Telecaster Blender Mod developed by Lindy Fralin, & now available from Tone Merchants. The Tele Blender/Tone Mod gives you a standard Tone Pot in the Down position. In the Up Position, the Tone pot is deactivated (imagine your tone on 10 – it’s brightest setting). Once deactivated, you now have a Blender Pot, which allows you to gradually Blend the Neck and Bridge pickups.

Available as a pre-wired harness with a CTS volume pot, 3 way USA CRL Switch & a Pure Tone Jack.  All the very best parts to ensure your Tele Mod is 100% functional & improves all of your guitar’s electronics. Choose from either a drop in pre-wired harness or a fully loaded control plate.

Telecaster Blender Mod Specs:

• Tone Potentiometer has Push/Pull. When down it’s a standard Tone Pot. When pulled up it becomes a Bend Pot.
• CTS Volume Pot.
• 250K Pots & 047uf Mylar tone capacitor for Single Coil Pickups.
• 500K Pots & .022uf Mylar tone capacitor for Humbucker & P90’s.
• Pure Tone Jack.
• Choose from a Wiring Harness or a Pre-Wired Control Plate.
• Teflon insulated wire.
• Clear instructions on how to install yourself.
• Pre-tinned leads for connecting pickups & ground wires.

Pre Tinned Leads For Easy Soldering

All Tone Merchants Wiring harnesses & control plates are designed to make install very easy. You’ll find the “Hot Wires” that are to be connected to your pickups already soldered to the pots. These are the Yellow Wire or Wires. The Black Wire is a master ground for all your Grounding Wires to be connected to. So all you need to do is connect the pre-tinned wires & then heat-shrink wrap the exposed wire (provided). This removes a lot of the effort when new to soldering & the fears around over-heating the pots.

Note wiring harness does not include or need new knobs. You can use your current tone and volume knobs to retain your current esthetic appearance of your Telecaster. If you do need new knobs or a control plate. Then check out our pre-wired control plate, or pick out the pieces you need from out Guitar Parts range.
