Stratocaster Wiring Harness made to your specs with the choice of three different tone capacitor options, plus if you want to add a treble bleed / volume mod you can choose this.  All options come with a Pure Tone Jack ensuring you get full contact when connecting to your amp or pedal board. Also a CRL USA 5 Way Switch, all the best parts for your axe.

For Stratocaster Pickups that are the Standard SSS (Single coil, Single Coil, Single Coil) choose the SSS option.

Stratocaster Wiring Harness Includes:

• CTS USA Spec Potentiometers. 250K for SSS, 500K for HSS.
• Your Choice of Tone Capacitor Mylar, Orange Drop or Jupiter Mustard Caps (047uf for SSS, .022uf for HSS).

Stratocaster Wiring Harness Tone Capacitor Options

1. Mylar Tone Cap – Used by Fender & Gibson in the 1950’s & 60’s. These were a superior upgrade from the little disc ceramic tone caps. These are the Standard Tone Capacitor on all our Tone Merchants wiring harnesses.
   
2. Sprague® Orange Drop Cap – A reliable well known industry standard Tone Capacitor, introduced in the late 60’s & is one of the most common cap options used today.
   
3. Jupiter Mustard Tone Cap – Jupiter Yellow Vintage Tone Capacitors Aluminum Foil Mylar 1960’s Style Build. Modeled after the Yellow Astron and Blue Molded capacitors used in American amplifiers of the 50’s and 60’s. Made in the USA of US-made materials.
   

SSS or HSS Stratocaster Wiring

Price is the same, but it is important that you choose the right wiring harness for your Strat.  If you have standard SSS (Single coil, Single Coil, Single Coil) choose the SSS option. This will have 250K Pots and a .047uf Tone Cap. If your Strat has a Humbucker at the Bridge then you need to choose the HSS wiring harness that has 500K Potentiometers and a .022uf Tone Cap.

What is a Treble Bleed Mod?

A Treble Bleed mod keeps your treble intact when you roll your volume down. Quick and easy to install, this part is great for maintaining superb high-end, with the versatility of your volume knob. This is essential for Country, Blues, and Rock guitarists & bass players who want to keep their high end & utilize their volume knob. We use a 0.002µF Capacitor & a .200 Resistor. The Volume kit will be installed on the lugs of your Volume Pot & will bleed treble as the Volume Pot rolls down. Resolving the issue around rolling down your volume & loosing your treble.
         

CTS Potentiometers

Designed in the USA & made in Taiwan, CTS Pots have been an industry standard since forever. These will be a direct replacement for any USA Spec Electric Guitar or Bass. If you have an instrument that was made in Indonesia, China or Korea. It’s is most likely that you will need to either make the holes for your potentiometers a little larger, purchase a pre-wired control pate (if applicable) & replace everything. Or choose from our range of Alpha Wiring Harnesses that use Alpha Potentiometers that are made in South Korea.

Pure Tone Jacks

Made in the USA, these are my favorite jacks available. I love them so much I don’t see the point in offering an alternative.  With four points of contact, you will get years of life from your Wiring Harness & having a great Mono Jack is a big part of that.
