Bacchus Passive Jazz Bass in Sonic Blue with a Double Roasted Neck!

This stunning example is an Ash body with a Lacquer finish in Sonic Blue. With the very best Gotoh hardware including their string through the body 404SJ bridge. That is without a doubt one of my favorite bridges for Jazz Bass. The neck is 1 piece Maple that has been Double Roasted to draw out all the moisture and increase the necks stability. With a satin finish on the neck, it plays like a dream. If that was not enough, it has an Ebony Fretboard and Mother of Pearl binding around the neck. I find myself using the word “stunning” all the time when describing this bass.
Controls are traditional passive Vol, Vol, Tone. But the Tone control is Push/Pull for Serries/Parallel switching. Important to note that when is Serries the Vol control for the neck pickup controls the overall volume. When you go back into Parallel wiring of your pickups, both volume controls act as normal.
With the above specifications, you get a punchy, well rounded Jazz Bass. It’s at home playing all styles of music and the Serries/Parallel switching is excellent. Giving you more beef from the pickups, without having a massive change in the output. It’s one of the smoother switching’s I have used.
