Lollar Imperial Fender Spaced Pickup are Jason Lollar’s take on the original 1950s P.A.F. pickup. The Imperial^® was designed to draw from the long revered qualities of the original P.A.F.s while improving on their frequency balance and giving a slight boost to the bridge pickup’s output.

Stock available with Nickel covers. Or choose from a wide range of custom cover options. We have regular orders coming in from Lollar, so of choosing a custom cover we can usually dispatch from Tone Merchants in Auckland within 4-6 weeks of receiving your order.

Lollar Low Wind Imperial^® Humbucker

Ideally suited for guitars that have a darker overall tone, our Low Wind Imperials produce more treble response and a tighter low end than our standard Imperial^®. Great for use in semi-hollowbody and hollowbody guitars.

Lollar High Wind Imperial^® Humbucker

Get a thicker, fuller sound that will push your amp harder and faster than our standard Imperials while delivering a smooth tone and softer attack. We often recommend these for thin-bodied guitars like Gibson^® SGs.

Delivery Throughout Australia & New Zealand

All orders are sent from our shop in Auckland, NZ on a track and trace courier. Typically within New Zealand your order will arrive over night once dispatched. For delivery into Australia typically our standard service is 5-7 days once dispatched.

Once your order is ready to send out to you, you will receive an e-mail notification with the track and trace details of your courier that has been booked. So if needed you can check on the progress of your delivery.

I can't tell you enough about how Brad helped me out of a jam, I was on tour recently in NZ/AUST with LIVE - (Bass Tech) and I had a tuning peg get damaged in transport and Tone Merchants were the only dealers on that side of the world with the peg I needed. Brad was so fast with an email response and express shipping of the peg I was back up and running with in a couple days. After doing plenty of hunting for a replacement bridge for my Rickenbacker bass i stumbled across Tone Merchants. The communication back and forth while i waited for the import to arrive was great.... Prompt shipping to me in Australia at a very reasonable cost! The tone, playability and most of all functionality of this upgrade is second to none. 10/10. It's just like a cup of Dilmah - "Do Try It".

Legendary. Great advice from Brad regarding modding options aswell as a wicked service in the explanation as to what each can do for your tone. The concentric knob control plate was simple to install, looks amazing on the US Fender and with the series/parallel switches my tone control is spot on. A slick and stylish vintage look and an even better sounding jazz bass.
