Product Description
Genzler Acoustic Array Pro offers a full featured preamp design with 2 identical channels, both with mic and instrument inputs. A unique Contour circuit, flexible EQ network, Digital Effects, a 150 watt / 300 watt Class D power amplifier platform. With a unique angled cabinet shape that has a bottom-mounted speaker stand adaptor and a sophisticated speaker system design.
The focal point of this light-weight, compact combo is a speaker design engineered for acoustic instrument reproduction that is based upon our revolutionary Bass Array® format. The AA-PRO speaker system features a specialized 10” woofer in a ported chamber along with the performance and pattern control of a proprietary line array column. Which is mounted forward of the woofer in the center of the speaker baffle. This line array column utilizes 4 custom designed 2.5” neodymium paper-cone drivers and no compression tweeter is used in this design. The use and placement of the line array provides exceptional clarity and ultra-smooth response. Along with broad dispersion and projection that line array principals produce. The 10” woofer produces the depth and roundness of the low frequencies while the mid and high frequencies are produced by the line array and are clear, natural and authentic to the acoustic instrument.
The blend of this innovative speaker system along with our preamp and amplifier platform delivers an acoustic amp like no other available. Either used as an acoustic instrument amplifier from the stage or a stand-mounted PA, the Acoustic Array™ PRO is a 12kg versatile package ideal for a variety of uses and venues.
Genzler Acoustic Array Extension Cabinet
Adding the Genzler Acoustic Array Extension Cabinet he power output of the AA-PRO combo increases to a powerful 300 Watts. And for stability there are 4 raised screw heads provided on the top corners of the extension cab so that they lock into the rubber feet of the AA-PRO combo when stacked.

Genzler acoustic array pro is TONE and SIMPLICITY in one light weight and neat package. Sweepable mids are a necessity for taming the honk in piezo pick-ups and the contour knob is the icing on the cake. If you can’t get a good tone from this amp it’s either what you’re putting in (sh#t in = sh#t out) or your signal chain and settings need looked at. This amp for better or worse reproduces exactly what it is fed so any mistakes and poor playing technique show up and don’t get “hidden” by the amp colouring the sound. Vocals and instruments both sound excellent and the tone shaping controls are very effective, the on board effects work well and being able to adjust the reverb time allows versatility . I’m able to gig with no outboard gear – guitar , looper, mic and a couple of leads and stand – that’s it. The 10” speaker so far seems to handle the low end admirably from drum machines and stomp boxes and the mid high drivers make the top end smooth without the normal fizz that tweeters can produce. This is an excellent speaker combination for acoustic instruments and works well on percussive playing. The aux input sounds to me like it is has no filter , is full range and goes below the 60 hz published in the specs. But not by much so don’t expect the thump of a subwoofer. I’ve used this on indoor and outdoor gigs and although not published the horizontal spread is definitely wider than a powered speaker, I would say probably about 150 degrees and the throw seems to have the characteristics of a line array where you don’t have to blast the front row (and yourself) to project to the rear even though 4 drivers do not make a true line array. I can have it off to the side and only slightly behind me and still hear the full audio spectrum. A normal point source amp/speaker in this same position would lose some top end. I have used this on gigs up to 100 seated audience with no problems and would imagine it could easily cope with more especially with the extension speaker added. Probably one of the best performance per dollar deals in acoustic amps available today. P.S. I got a 20ah lithium battery and 300w inverter and duct taped them together for unpowered gigs outdoors. It weighs 3.5 kg and is smaller than a tissue box. Run the amp at about 40% volume for 3 hrs no problems- haven’t tested how long it will last but from the specs I calculate it should be about 5hrs on full volume (longer on lower volumes )using a 20ah lithium battery or alternatively a 40ah agm battery.
