Stratocaster Soft V Neck

Stratocaster Soft V Neck made from a 1 piece quarter sawn maple with a skunk stripe.  Found in the Eric Clapton Signature guitar & many of the early 1950’s Strats. The soft V neck can be a very comfortable neck for guitarist that like to wrap their thumb around the bass side of the neck.

Natural satin, water based urethane finish for a very smooth & comfortable feel. 42mm bone nut & a 9.5 inch radius. 22 nickel frets, 8mm tuner holes with truss rod access from the top of the headstock for easy adjustments.

Important Notes About Our Strat Necks

We are unable to pre-drill the mounting holes into the back of the neck for you. This is because we cannot guarantee that the holes we drill will be a 100% match with those on your guitar body. We recommend that if you are not familiar with replacement neck installation that you contact a qualified luthier or repair shop. You can find a list of luthiers and guitar techs that we recommend in this link.
All guitar necks may require a final level, crown, and polish and may need to be fine-tuned to your instrument and playing preferences. Your new neck should be carefully inspected prior to installation and/or modification as necks cannot be returned once altered. Due to the organic nature of wood, each neck is considered unique and may have minor variations in grain or finish from those pictured. Tone Merchants neck heels are made to Fender® USA dimensions and tolerance.
Necks are all made to spec in China for Tone Merchants & are inspected here in Auckland before being listed.  Feel free to contact us if you have any questions. Replacement Necks are only sold within New Zealand. These cannot be sold outside of NZ. Any purchases made outside of NZ may be subject to a 8% admin fee for the processing of a refund.
