Jazz Bass Neck

Jazz Bass Neck made from 1/4 Sawn maple & the choice of a Maple or Indian Rosewood fretboard. 20 Nickel frets on a C shape neck with a 9.5″ radius. 16mm Tuner holes so all our Bass Necks with fit Hipshot Ultralite Tuners. Satin finish for a smooth no stick feel.  Ivory dots on the Indian Rosewood & at the side of the neck. 38mm bone nut & truss rod can be found at the heel of the neck. All of our Tone Merchants necks are compatible with any Fender spec pocket for a Jazz Bass Body. You can also pair any of our Jazz Bass Necks with our Jazz Bass Bodies that I carry in stock.

Due to the organic nature of wood each neck is different in appearance.  Particularly with the Indian Rosewood fingerboards. For this reason I do list each Neck with a Rosewood Fingerboard individually. So you can choose for yourself. Maple fingerboards are more consistent in their appearance so this is not provided for Maple Fingerboards.

Trace & Trace Delivery

All orders are sent from our shop in Auckland, NZ on a track and trace courier. Typically within New Zealand your Jazz Bass Replacement Neck will arrive over night once dispatched. For any rural addresses, please add an extra 2-3 days for delivery. Orders throughout Australia usually arrive within 5-10 days after being dispatched.

Once your order is ready to send out to you, you will receive an e-mail notification with the track and trace details of your courier that has been booked. So if needed you can check on the progress of your delivery.

Important Notes About Our Jazz Bass Necks

We are unable to pre-drill the mounting holes into the back of the neck for you. This is because we cannot guarantee that the holes we drill will be a 100% match with those on your guitar body. We recommend that if you are not familiar with replacement neck installation that you contact a qualified luthier or repair shop. You can find a list of luthiers and guitar techs that we recommend in this link.
All guitar necks may require a final level, crown, and polish and may need to be fine-tuned to your instrument and playing preferences. Your new neck should be carefully inspected prior to installation and/or modification as necks cannot be returned once altered. Due to the organic nature of wood, each neck is considered unique and may have minor variations in grain or finish from those pictured. Tone Merchants neck heels are made to Fender® USA dimensions and tolerance.
