With this bass I wanted a fat, warm, old school vintage tone. With the modern day comforts & pleasures of today’s technology.
Lets start from the top and work our way down the bass.
The neck was made to spec along with the body at a fantastic factory in China & I have more underway with them as you read this. It’s a one piece roasted flame maple neck. Roasting adds stability, taking out most of the moisture & in the fluctuating weather conditions in NZ this is highly beneficial. Not only does it give increase stability, it looks absolutely awesome. Satin vintage tint added that makes this neck a dream to play. No stickiness at all. Rosewood fretboard that really finishes off the look and playability of the neck.

Then the fun parts. A Nordstrand NP4 noiseless p bass pickup that gives an amazing tone both with the tone rolled off, in the middle or all the way up. Best of all, no hum. So great for playing quieter gigs, or when recording. Then an Emerson pre-wired bass kit with their vintage tone capacitors. And to top it off La Bella Deep Talkin Flats, for the Jamerson thud we all love.
Light weight Alder body finished in one of my favorite vintage colours; Olympic White.
